SSC ultimate aero is only for race it had nothing for comfort like air conditioning gps stereo etc. this is the reason why the veyron is soo heavy.

And the engine had a hp limiter to keep the car chest under 50°C.

That why if you made a veyron without these options you could make the quickest road legal car in the world and beat SSC crap

This car is also made by hand …

@brudel001 german autobahns ? hahahaha listen to me fanboy – I am german and I tell you, you can´t even reach 200kph on german autobahns since there are always 90Hp cars blocking the left lane or even trucks that are about to overtake other trucks. you can NOT reach 200kph, so don´t even talk about 300 or even 400+kph. not to mention german autobahns are the world´s only public roads without speed limits. at the end of the day the veyron´s nothing special – just a oversized 2.000.000€ two seater

@3O2MuStAnG, German autobahns, roads in UAE or highways in Moscow for example? And thats not even the point – it doesn’t matter if you can’t do topspeed everywhere but it does matter how easily you can do like 100mph or 190mph.

@3O2MuStAnG, please name atleast 10 stock factory cars that run low 10′s. Should be dead easy since theres like million of them out there.

Nürburgring lap time for Veyron was never official because it was done in public session with traffic. If Veyron handling was bad, care to explain its Top Gear power lap, this video (done on bad tarmac with full tank) and the fact former McLaren F1 engineer actually praised its handling. It is clear you only think performance without realizing Veyron actually relaunched the supercar industries with its technologies.

@SuYpIA you´re stupid for calling me an american when I´m in fact, german. thing is, there are a million street legal cars out there that will run low 10s at the 1/4 mile on street tires, sometimes even 4 seat equipped daily drivers. so why would you pay 2.000.000€ for a oversized 2 seater car that won´t even dominate in case of the acceleration ? the top speed is useless, you can´t reach it nowhere on real roads and the veyron´s handling just sucks as everyone knows by its nürburgring lap time

    April 1st, 2011 at 03:28 | #15

@3O2MuStAnG Ha, you stupid Americans only care about the 1/4 mile.

    April 1st, 2011 at 04:18 | #16

unless they develop dramatically better street tire technology no car will ever be faster than this EVER

10.1sec 1/4 mile haha – that´s by far slower than the SSC Ultimate Aero and the Saleen S7 and the Ultima GTR. why would you pay 2.000.000€ for a 10.1 second car. it´s not a daily driver (don´t even try to claim that).
you will not pick up more than one person in a Gayron – also it kills as much gas as a tank, also it´s got no space to pick up anything – even a bike is more practical than a Gayron. also you´d have trouble getting a parking lot with a Gayron lol – and it sounds like a VW Golf :D

Yes, Nissan GT-R a great car, but do not compare GT-R and Bugatti, even if you modify the GT-R such as the GT-R Alpha10, Because there is long distance between them in quality of the industry .

@steflotti105 Only in Top Speed. In the 1/4mile the Ultima will beat it. 0-200mph the Ultima will also beat it.

The fastest record was a 127mph ace against the qualifier Maria Jose Martinez Sanchez (Spain).
The previous record was a 126mph serve, held by Venus and Serena Williams.
Venus Williams also did a129mph serve at the 2007 US Open.

Whats with all the comments saying they should get tested. Bit tackless. Be a bit more simpathetic or dont comment at all. Tbh no one wants to know what they SHOULDVE done. They just want to know they're not alone, And there not<3

They're probably referring to the fact that some ingredients may have at some point been tested on animals, probably by another company a long time ago. It's most likely sort of a disclaimer so someone doesn't go "hey, this one ingredient was tested by some company ten years ago on animals, so the label is lying."

A reliant Robin is a much better vehicle with class than the Bugatti.

I suggest you buy your boyfriend an Aston Martin if you win the lottery.

No cough syrup contains alcohol- coughsyrup has an opiate analog akin to Ketamine; because poppy derivatives are still a caughs' (not the colds') only remedy.
Every gas is just an asphyxiate that hasn't been tested. Look at a few msds, you'll find that most everything isn't tested, and certainly not for anything outside of the area of it's intended application.

Not harping here, just hate uninformed posing fact.
Like hearing BritishPetroleum for over a month. The company's name is bp, and has been since it's buy-outs in the Usa. It doesn't take much research.

You're absolutely right the SSC Ultimate Areo TT is the fastest car but i thought that the bugatti Veyron was the fastest but it is the 2nd fastest car

Bugatti Veyron: 253 mph+, 0-60 in 2.5 secs. Aluminum, Narrow Angle W16 Engine with 1001 hp, base price is $1,444,000. With the highest price tag, no wonder this is rank #2.

your conclusion from the fastest laps weren't quite right.

All the fastest laps were set on approx lap 14, which was in that window where the inters were the best tyre to be on and before they went off (if i remember correctly), so looking at it from that perspective–

hamilton was the fastest of those who changed to inters,
button was the fastest of those who stayed out on slicks

    Let me sort this out.

Firstly, ANY sport is dull if you're not interested or don't understand it. ANY sport is interesting if you are interested or do understand it.

Therefore, the properties of “dullness” or “interesting” are not properties of the sport itself, but of the viewer of the sport as a consequence of their viewing thereof.

That said, spyder is right, tennis is majestic.

Oh I think a Bugatti is great choice but not the choice of class. Now a Morgan Sports that is panache and class all rolled into one.
