If you wish, maybe watch my tutorial on the 2x2x2. It's new and you're probably gonna be the first to actually use. If you do use it, please tell me how good it was. And it's good that you can actually solve the 5x5x5, because some people can't. I can solve 2x2x2 through to 7x7x7.

I was in sixth form at the time, and there was a certain amount of competition in solving the cube.

One day I took on all comers in the sixth form common room, and beat them with a best time of 55 seconds (for the standard 3x3x3). I used 3in1 oil to make the sides turn easier …

… my best time for the 4x4x4 was 2.5 minutes.

Sad, eh? I couldn't solve either of them now, I've forgotten some of the corner swapping moves.
