    1. Building with my hands. I seriously get the biggest rush when i finish a project and see that finished result. 2. I like having deadlines but don’t enjoy being inside a building 24/7 to do the project. 3. Extreme sports such as : sky diving, scuba diving, etc. 4. Animals. I’d give up most people’s lives to save an animal, including my own. 5. Video games, not that I want to program them though. Any idea what blends at least some of these?

I'm sure you had some good points in this post. But I lost attention after the 140th character.

But seriously, I think it's all about attention. Attention is a finite resource, and the number of things (blogs, Twitter, job, etc.) asking for our attention is simply increasing, it's proliferating wildly.

So we have to make decisions — more frequently, and with less information — about what to pay attention to, and what to ignore.

I will say this, though: If you write more, I will pay attention.

My feeling is that the cost of goods and services will rise, but the amount of money in the hands of the working class will rise as well. More money will flow through the local economy, and businesses will make less profit as a percentage of gross sales, but a higher dollar amount. As a restaurant manager, I can deal with that just fine, thank you.

The difference between "absolute" and "total" is a matter of reference.

For example, the "total amount" of snow fallen outside might be 10cm. You got that number by measuring what's fallen with a meter. But the "absolute amount" might be 15cm because your 10cm doesn't account for the snow melted since it's fallen, or the wind.

You have caused me to be flooded with many memories of my skiing adventures on the slopes of Graysville,Alabama in the late 60's and early 70's.
Actually the ski's were cardboard boxes and the slopes were covered with grass but let me tell ya, you hit a mailbox at the bottom of the hill and your looking at cuts soaked in methiolate. My dad used methiolate because it burned like pouring gasloine on the cut and lighting it with a match.Oh,the good ole days.

I agree. Looking young for your age will be great when you start hitting the 40's and 50's. Especially for women when the cougar train comes a' knockin.

I also agree that your age is relative to how you act. I've met plenty of dudes my age who act and look like grumpy old 60 year olds, and plenty of dudes who embody a youthfulness because they embrace the novelty and humour of life.
