The parent who is always pushing their child to go further, faster, quicker, and be <nofollow>overall better</nofollow> than everyone. The parent who is always the first to every meet even if their child is <noindex>still tired.</noindex> The same parent is also the first person to usually at each gymnastic event and talks badly <noindex><nofollow>about those who</nofollow></noindex> arrive just right before it starts.

This is who most parents really do not want to become, yet <nofollow>without a conscious</nofollow> effort to avoid this it is relatively easy to slide into this role. You can go from <noindex>being a</noindex> popular parent with the other parents to being the number one person to avoid quite quickly and <noindex><nofollow>that is</nofollow></noindex> never a good idea. However, with these suggestions it is possible to keep your head firmly squared <noindex>on your</noindex> shoulders and cheer your child on.

Do not start comparing your child to every other child in the <noindex>gym. This is</noindex> important regardless of whether your think your child is better than everyone else, or everyone else is <nofollow>better than</nofollow> your child. Rather than focus on how your child compares to everyone else instead focus on how <nofollow>they compare to</nofollow> themselves and what accomplishments they are making on their own.

Do not start telling your child that winning <noindex>is very</noindex> important. Gymnastics should be fun and entertaining for your child first above anything else. A child who loses sight <nofollow>of how much</nofollow> fun it is will start to burn out quickly. Burnout can cost a talented gymnast a complete <noindex><nofollow>career, so avoid</nofollow></noindex> this problem, and emphasize fun over victories.

Do not act as if the scores from the judge’s are <noindex><nofollow>an accurate reflection</nofollow></noindex> of your child’s self worth. There are many parents who come to associate the score from the <noindex><nofollow>judge with</nofollow></noindex> their own level of satisfaction with their child. This means on days when the child needs extra <noindex>attention from their</noindex> parents after a bad routine the parent could not careless because they received bad marks. Yet the <nofollow>same parent</nofollow> is the child’s personal cheerleading squad when they do well. Avoid letting this become you, give your <nofollow>child attention regardless</nofollow> of whether they did well or badly.

Do not ever scream at the judges or coach during a <noindex><nofollow>meet and</nofollow></noindex> tell them they are they stupid. No matter how many days you have been a self-proclaimed professional <noindex><nofollow>parent you</nofollow></noindex> do not have the knowledge and experience that the coaches and judges do. Let them do their <noindex>

Tags:person, quad, drag, score, overall, art, making, best, real, training, being, shou, routine, tai, world

Mastering Gymnastics Moves Through Mediation Styled Techniques. World of Gymnastics ." title="Mastering Gymnastics Moves Through Mediation Styled Techniques. World of Gymnastics . Gymnastics 9 photo" />

Many coaches train gymnasts to use methods such as visualization to help them visualize a technique or movement before they actually physically try it. This helps the gymnasts determine exact body placement, as well as how fast they should be moving to successfully complete the task. To make things easiest it is necessary to take this up a notch and use several steps working together to make the visualization process much simpler and help your own little gymnast learn the skills much easier.

The first step is always stopping and relaxing. People are not able to learn as easily if they are stressed out no matter what they are trying to do. Relax and breathe deeply to let the tension go. Once you feel the stress melting away and have taken several deep breathes you can move along.

Your next step is going to imagine your self performing the technique flawlessly. How do you look? What did you do? What was the reaction of the crowd? What was the reaction of your coach? How did you feel while you were doing the position? What were your hands doing? What about your feet? Did you feel comfortable in your mind? All of these details will help you determine exactly what your body should do and when to achieve the best result.

Next, you need to step back from yourself in your mind and visualize yourself doing the technique several times. This allows you to have a stadium seat in your head and really get a good view of your body. Watching the technique several times will allow you to quickly learn how your body should be placed and where you should be in relation to everyone around you and how your entire body should be in relation to other parts of your body.

Your next step will be to actually try the new technique. You should have visually run through the entire process several times in your head at this point and should be well versed in what you are doing. Without this knowledge and intimate idea about how your own body should react, you would be much further behind. However, using your own knowledge from your imagination as you performed the technique continuously will help you to achieve the best result possible the first time.

While your initial physical attempt may not go as smoothly as you like, continuously practicing will allow you to discover the best results possible. In order to truly achieve the success that you want, you can continue visualizing and repeating to actually try the technique until you get the result that you ultimately want for your entire routine.

The idea that practice makes perfect goes along perfectly with this technique. By carefully studying and analyzing, any mistakes that you make you can focus your visualization on these aspects to continuously improve your movements until you have found the perfect technique for your actual physical performance.

Of course, if you have any questions you should ask your coach. You may not realize you have any questions until you visualize the move and notice that it looks different. If you see anything either in physical movements or in your visualization that does not quite look right, ask questions to ensure that you know exactly what you are working towards. You cannot achieve perfection if you are too shy to ask questions so feel free to ask.

You should notice that by using visualization techniques you are able to achieve greater results much quicker than if you simply practiced the same moves over and over again. While physically practicing the moves is essential to mastering them, it is also important to be able to visualize and understand exactly how your body should move. Combining the two techniques together will have you sailing through moves in no time and mastering techniques and tricks quite quickly. In time, you will come to always use the mediation techniques to help you master each and every technique.
Note: There is a poll embedded within this post, please visit the site to participate in this post's poll.
Recent visits to the site (search terms):

mastering gymnastics (3)

Tags:techniques, mastering gymnastics, ski, perfect, trick, help, table, shou, sea, coach, tim, eating, routine, olympic gymnastics moves, continuous

Teaching, training, and exercising Aikido. Japanese martial arts." title="Teaching, training, and exercising Aikido. Japanese martial arts. Aikido 9 photo" />

Since the development of Aikido from the hands of its founder Morihei Ueshiba, it has gone through drastic changes. From the technique, practice, purpose, teaching, and training, Aikido is being interpreted in so many ways. Despite these <nofollow>glaring changes,</nofollow> the basic principle of Aikido still remains: a martial art that aims to achieve peace and harmony without instigating attack and force.

BEFORE YOU PRACTICE

If you are into aikido and already been enrolled in one of the classes, <nofollow>you must</nofollow> familiarize yourself with everything that you need to know about the martial art. You must realize that <nofollow>the practice of</nofollow> aikido starts once you have entered the "dojo" or the place where demonstrations, teachings, and training take <nofollow>place. </nofollow>

The aikido trainees are instructed and expected to exercise and observe proper etiquette at all times. Here are some guidelines <nofollow>for those</nofollow> you have just started exercising or training for aikido:

1. Attendance is important and a must. Indeed, the <nofollow>only way</nofollow> for you to improve in aikido is by attending regular classes and continuous training. Although attendance is not mandatory in most dojos, you better keep in mind that for you to learn and master aikido, you must be there when you have training so you wouldn’t miss any of the aikido teachings and trainings.

Most aikido practitioners suggest <nofollow>that for</nofollow> a student to advance in aikido, he or she should practice at least twice a week. Aside <nofollow>from not missing</nofollow> out something, attending aikido classes regularly can also help you cultivate self-discipline.

2. Make your training your own <nofollow>responsibility. Just</nofollow> like in any martial art training, Aikido requires attention and dedication from you. And since you are <nofollow>the one who</nofollow> is interested in learning the martial, you should also be the one in-charge of your own exercise and training. Once you have decided to practice Aikido, it is given that you should be the one who <nofollow>is responsible for</nofollow> your proficiency and improvement.

Although instructors and senior students will be there to guide you, they wouldn’t be <nofollow>the one</nofollow> responsible for your improvement. So if you really want to improve in this martial art, make sure <nofollow>that you</nofollow> observe effectively before asking for any help and that you try to learn the techniques on your own first before you partake in any demonstration.

3. Bear in mind that Aikido training includes more than one technique. Aside <nofollow>from the</nofollow> physical demonstrations, training in aikido includes observation and modification of both physical and psychological patterns of the <nofollow>students’ thought and</nofollow> behavior. Since there are so many techniques to learn, an aikido student should be ready to react <nofollow>to circumstances</nofollow> so he or she can cultivate awareness.

4. Memorize the basic teachings and principles of the martial art. <nofollow>

Recent visits to the site (search terms):

aikido principles basic concepts of the peaceful martial art djvu (2)

aikido sukash (1)

aikido training rapidshare (1)

Tags:technique, first, martial, instructor, rope, spirit, real, basic, students, arts, hang, activities, Martial Arts, dance, hand

Using Aikido in Combat. Aikido 6 photo" />

Everyone has the power of life or death in one’s hands. It is the decision of the individual <nofollow>to slow down</nofollow> when pedestrians are crossing or whether to pull the trigger when going on a duck hunt.

Unfortunately, there are certain elements in society who will cause harm in order to get money instead of working for it. The <nofollow>person can become</nofollow> a victim when walking to the car after doing some shopping or when coming home late from work.

The police may not always be there to assist so it is best to be prepared always. One way <nofollow>to be</nofollow> prepared is learning a martial art. The individual does not have to be as good as Bruce <nofollow>Lee to</nofollow> kick butt but simply learn what it takes to deliver a good punch.

One of the more popular <nofollow>and yet</nofollow> very peaceful is aikido. This is because in combat, the person doesn’t strike the opponent with the <nofollow>intent to injure</nofollow> or kill. The objective is merely to subdue the opponent with minimum force to be able to <nofollow>get to safety. </nofollow>

There are various Dojos all across the country that teach aikido. The person can sign up in one <nofollow>and then move</nofollow> up the ranks.

Beginners will first work use techniques based in the shape of a square. As the <nofollow>skills develop, the</nofollow> person will move up to triangle and then eventually circle. This will take months so the student <nofollow>must be committed</nofollow> throughout the entire process.

The objective of this is for the person to be able to the various techniques with the least amount of effort unlike before. This will give the person enough energy in combat should there be more than one opponent.

The things done in practice such as the holds, grips and falls can never be compared with what happens in the streets. This is because an inexperienced person may try something different so the <nofollow>individual should be</nofollow> prepared for anything.

It is a good thing though that various competitions are held regularly so that one’s combat skills can be tested. The student can sign up especially if the dojo usually participates in such tournaments.

While in <nofollow>practice or during</nofollow> competition, the person should lower the tempo to prevent injuring the partner. After all, the real battle is out there in the streets and should only be used as a last resort.

There may even come a <nofollow>time that the</nofollow> assailant could be someone also skilled in the martial arts. The only way to win will be to use the mind since this will allow the individual to react faster in the middle of a fight.

There are <nofollow>various secrets</nofollow> in aikido. This can be from the hand to eye coordination, the flexibility of the wrist, the <nofollow>breathing and the</nofollow> speed. All of these things will count for something as the person is in combat struggling in <nofollow>a life</nofollow> or death situation.

There is a line that goes, “no pain, no gain.” Unfortunately, this will happen in <nofollow>

Tags:attack, cross, Martial Arts, because, first, car, base, merely, aikido, test, kick, force, art, learning, peace

The Perfect Vacation – Golf Courses and More.- Target sports.

Golf channel

activities

anything

area

because

car

cat

chi

child

children

combine

country

course

courses

family

float

force

game

games

going

hand

handled

help

hot

looking

mall

order

people

perfect

pin

ping

play

playing

sea

several

single

ski

sometimes

sport

sports

still

swing

tai

target

tent

those

tim

time

wing

working

If you are looking to play a few good games of Golf as well as take a vacation there are plenty of options that you have. Target sports. Golf 22 photo" />

If you are looking to play a few good games of Golf as well as take a vacation there are <noindex>plenty of</noindex> options that you have. There are numerous places all around the country that have several fabulous golf <noindex><nofollow>courses all</nofollow></noindex> together in a very close area. With a bit of careful planning you can ensure that you <nofollow>are able</nofollow> to play on numerous golf courses all by going to a single destination. This requires a bit <noindex>of planning</noindex> ahead, but if you are careful in how you plan your trip, there are destinations that are <nofollow>full of as</nofollow> many as 10 golf courses in a single area, which will give you plenty of options for <nofollow>what you would</nofollow> like to play in terms of location and course difficulty.

With Golf becoming such a popular sport in recent years, <noindex>the number of</noindex> hotels as well as other attractions that are located close to Golf courses has increased as well. While in <noindex>the past,</noindex> everyone was forced to choose between a vacation of Golf or something else you can now easily combine everything <noindex>together into</noindex> the perfect opportunity to spend time with your family, Golf and still enjoy other activities as well. This is <noindex><nofollow>also perfect</nofollow></noindex> for those trips that you are taking with your family when not everyone is interested in golf.

If <noindex><nofollow>you are looking</nofollow></noindex> to take your family with you including children it is very important to ensure that other activities <nofollow>are located</nofollow> close by. Most children do not find trooping around a Golf course for an entire vacation to be enjoyable, <noindex>which leaves you</noindex> with a problem of what to do in order to ensure that everyone has a great time. <noindex><nofollow>Other considerations</nofollow></noindex> include the fact that many Golf courses will not allow children on the course due to the safety considerations. <nofollow>The fact of</nofollow> the matter is that Golf can be extremely dangerous if the golfer loses their concentration when they are swinging, <noindex>this can result</noindex> in the children getting hurt.

Going on a vacation to a lot of Golf courses can seem like heaven; however <noindex>before you</noindex> pack your bags to go you need to take some time to look into the policies and <noindex>guidelines for</noindex> the courses that you anticipate visiting. This is very important because of the number of people who <noindex>tend to</noindex> travel makes it sometimes very difficult to get a slot on the schedule. If you call ahead <noindex><nofollow>to check</nofollow></noindex> into the exact policies and procedures you can know in advance if you need to book your <noindex>slot, and</noindex> if so how far in advance and all other pertinent details for the trip. Waiting until the <nofollow>last minute</nofollow> could find you without any time on the course if it is booked up.

If you would rather <nofollow>skip the mundane</nofollow> details look into having a travel agent book your trip. This will allow you to have the <nofollow>agent handle</nofollow>

Tags:perfect, wing, children, float, tai, those, ping, area, games, anything, tim, target, still, pin, force

Explanation of Popular Golf Terms- Target sports.

Golf channel

actually

air

anything

area

art

ball

base

based

being

cat

certain

considered

course

courses

flag

float

game

generally

going

hand

help

high

hole

individual

list

looking

means

order

overall

particular

play

played

player

players

playing

possible

put

putt

rally

referred

san

score

several

short

shou

show

shows

single

sport

sports

stick

stroke

tai

target

tent

There are numerous Golf terms that are used in almost every game that is played, yet often it is virtually impossible for someone who is new to Golf or just does not understand Golf to understand the terminology. Some of the most popular terms <noindex><nofollow>are listed below</nofollow></noindex> to ensure that you know exactly what is being said while you are out on the green. <noindex><nofollow>Of course,</nofollow></noindex> this list is not absolute, but this list will help you get started successfully.

Back Nine – This <noindex><nofollow>is the last</nofollow></noindex> set of 9 holes that are on the golf course. This is determined by the order that <noindex>the course is</noindex> played in. For example, if you start playing on hole 1, the back nine would refer to <noindex>holes 10-18. However</noindex> if you started playing on the 10th hole it would actually refer to holes 1-9.

Birdie – This <noindex><nofollow>is when</nofollow></noindex> a score for a particular hole comes in one stroke below par for the particular hole that <noindex><nofollow>is being</nofollow></noindex> played. This means if the hole being played is a par -3 then the score must be <nofollow>a 2,</nofollow> if the hole is a par -5 it must be a score of 4.

Bogey – This is <nofollow>a score</nofollow> that comes in a single point over the par. For example, if you are playing a par <nofollow>-3 hole then</nofollow> a score of 4 would be a bogey. In going further, anything that was a par -5 <noindex><nofollow>would need a</nofollow></noindex> score of 6 to be a bogey. This is just an example and is not restricted to <noindex>only certain pars. </noindex>

Bunker – This is what is created as a depression in the ground that is generally filled in <nofollow>with sand,</nofollow> which provides a greenside hazard that needs to be avoided. While the bunker typically shows up in <nofollow>the greenside,</nofollow> it is possible for them to also along the fairways or even beside the fairways.

Green – This <noindex><nofollow>is what</nofollow></noindex> the very end of a hole is call where the flagstick is located. This is typically, where <noindex>you will</noindex> putt out the rest of the hole. The shape can vary, however most are either oblong or <noindex><nofollow>oval shape. </nofollow></noindex>

Handicap – This is an indication of the overall playing ability that a player has. It is generally compiled <noindex>based upon the</noindex> last several scores that have been played as well as the course rating and the slop ratings <noindex><nofollow>that accompany</nofollow></noindex> the courses that were played. Generally, someone who has a typical average of 10 over par will <noindex>have a</noindex> slightly better handicap. In terms of handicaps, someone with a 2 is better than someone with a <noindex>3 or higher</noindex> handicap.

Hole – This is the exact area where the flagstick resides to mark the exact location of <noindex>the hole</noindex> on the green. In addition it is also often referred to as the as the specific hole <noindex><nofollow>on a</nofollow></noindex> course – for example a Golf course typically has 18 holes.

Tags:individual, generally, put, float, play, air, playing, hole, game, single, hand, course, player, help, actually

Parachute School s and Courses. Due to the thrill and excitement it <noindex><nofollow>provides it gained</nofollow></noindex> popularity among the masses. Enthusiasts who wish to push the limits of extreme sports created skydiving, along <noindex><nofollow>with its many</nofollow></noindex> variants.

Parachute organizations would host events and competitions which were held in local, national and international levels. This <noindex>in turn initiated</noindex> the start of parachute schools who offer training and courses.

There are many parachute schools scattered all over <nofollow>the globe. Their</nofollow> courses are pretty much the same. There are courses available for serious skydivers who want to pursue <nofollow>a sport or</nofollow> want to get a license as an instructor.

These schools are popular for thrill seekers. It’s not an <noindex>intensive course but</noindex> you will still receive lessons from your instructor that could take 30 minutes to 1 hour. This <noindex><nofollow>course is</nofollow></noindex> called tandem jumping. You will be jumping with your instructor in a dual harness. The whole jump, <noindex><nofollow>from take off</nofollow></noindex> to landing takes about 25 minutes.

You will free fall in 40 seconds and 5 minutes under the <noindex><nofollow>parachute. Your</nofollow></noindex> instructor will deploy and control the parachute for a safe landing. The student doesn’t really need to <noindex><nofollow>do anything except</nofollow></noindex> enjoy the scenery.

Other courses are accelerated free fall and static line jump. In static line jump the trainee jumps <noindex><nofollow>from 3,500</nofollow></noindex> feet and their parachute is automatically opened. Trainees will have plenty of time to enjoy the scenery <noindex><nofollow>and provide</nofollow></noindex> light landings. The accelerated free fall is much more intensive than the first two. The ground training <noindex><nofollow>takes up to</nofollow></noindex> 6 hours. Trainees have to go through 6 levels.

Tags:harness, <a href="http://myallsports.com/tag/ground/" title="ground" Aikido 20 photo" />

Imagine walking home late at night when suddenly a group of people come out of nowhere and begin to surround you. The individual can cry out for help in the hopes that the locals will offer assistance or <nofollow>just give the</nofollow> money and hope that the hoodlums will leave after that.

But what if these people want more just <nofollow>than the</nofollow> money in the bag? The use of pepper spray or mace can probably knock two of the <nofollow>individuals out but</nofollow> something better is needed for proper defense. A good example is learning a martial art and if the person does not want to inflict that much damage, then aikido is the way to go.

What is aikido? This is a Japanese martial art just like Judo or Karate that uses primarily the arms to block offensive moves and <nofollow>then redirect it</nofollow> back with the same force to the opponent.

It is like catching a ball with one hand and <nofollow>then returning it</nofollow> back to another player. The moves are very fast which will surely amaze anyone who has seen <nofollow>one of</nofollow> Steven Segal’s action movies.

Aikido unlike other martial arts has been around since the 1930’s. As more students learned from the man who invented it, a number of dojo’s both in Japan and in other parts of the world were formed. This has also led to the development of different techniques in Aikido such as Aikikai, Yoshinkan and <nofollow>Yoseikan. </nofollow>

Practicing with a sparring partner and doing drills in the dojo is nothing compared to actual combat. This is the <nofollow>reason that the</nofollow> best way to stay in shape is to participate in a competition better known as Tomiki Aikido.

Aikido <nofollow>unlike other martial</nofollow> arts has not yet taken center stage in the Olympics. However, there are regular competitions organized by <nofollow>university clubs and</nofollow> local dojos in the community.

The competition just like in Karate, Tae Kwan Do or Judo is between two people. The player who successfully strikes the other opponent gets earns a point.

Aikido is a martial art that can <nofollow>be learned</nofollow> by almost anyone regardless of gender or age. All the person has to do is signup in <nofollow>a dojo,</nofollow> learn the basics and then practice regularly to develop better skills.

The individual may not get it right <nofollow>the first time</nofollow> or fall more often than others but everyone had to undergo the same thing in order to <nofollow>become a</nofollow> better fighter.

When the person is ready, it wouldn’t hurt to participate in Tomiki Aikido, which is held <nofollow>monthly in different</nofollow> states. The person should just see if there is anything on the bulletin board or online since <nofollow>certain clubs also</nofollow> announce such events on the web.

Aikido is primarily for defensive purposes. There are no sharp offensive punches <nofollow>or kicks normally</nofollow> associated with other martial arts. It can prepare anyone both physically and mentally to respond to various <nofollow>situations. </nofollow>

Tags:judo, karate, art, arts, techniques, board, chi, tai, aikido, hand, Martial Arts, ice, learn, fight, anything

Tips for Gymnastic Parents. World of Gymnastics ." title="Tips for Gymnastic Parents. World of Gymnastics . Gymnastics 19 photo" />

If your child is engaged in Gymnastics then you are in for an exciting ride. There are some great things <noindex><nofollow>that you can</nofollow></noindex> do to help encourage your child to have the best overall experience possible. Enjoy the ability to <noindex>sit back and</noindex> watch your child develop into a beautiful gymnast right before your eyes.

It is vital that you keep <noindex>an open mind</noindex> and allow your little gymnast to see that you are open-minded. If a child thinks that they <noindex><nofollow>are unable to</nofollow></noindex> do something then mentally that idea will hold them back. You should ensure that you help your <noindex><nofollow>child stay as</nofollow></noindex> open minded as possible too.

Ensure that your child is on time for meets and even practice. Nobody <noindex><nofollow>wants to always</nofollow></noindex> be late, especially when it is not their fault that they are late. Work with your child <noindex><nofollow>to ensure that</nofollow></noindex> they are always on time.

Push your child to think of Gymnastics as fun first before anything else. Many parents <noindex>get so</noindex> lost in the idea of pushing a child into sports and competition that they forget sports are <nofollow>supposed to</nofollow> be fun. Your child should never feel that participating in Gymnastics is a chore for them.

Make sure you give <noindex>your little gymnasts plenty</noindex> of attention and feedback. If they did a move that was impressive be sure to tell them! <noindex>Especially at</noindex> the lower levels, gymnasts do not always realize when they are doing well and cannot understand easily that the <nofollow>coach cannot always</nofollow> see everything they do. Without some encouragement, your child could be quickly discouraged.

Show your child that you <noindex><nofollow>are interested</nofollow></noindex> in their activities. This means watching a few practices, showing up, cheering your child on during the <noindex><nofollow>meets, and</nofollow></noindex> giving them general support. If they feel that, you hate their activities they are less likely to <nofollow>put a</nofollow> huge effort into it.

Learn and understand the terminology associated with Gymnastics . This will show your child that you <noindex>are committed</noindex> to helping them achieve the best results and that you believe they can really do it. If <noindex><nofollow>you have no</nofollow></noindex> interest in them staying in Gymnastics then this is usually unnecessary.

Make sure that you are communicating with your child’s <noindex><nofollow>coach so that</nofollow></noindex> you are aware of the progress they have made. This is a great way to know exactly <noindex>how your child</noindex> is doing, what they need additional help with, and how they are meeting the goals that the <nofollow>coach has set</nofollow> for them. In addition, this allows you to discuss how your child is doing in the goals <noindex><nofollow>that they</nofollow></noindex> have set for themselves.

Tags:help, ultimate, best, disc, chi, cat, overall, progress, competition, direction, learn, sometimes, tim, mind, pin

Parachute Skydiving and Other Sports. Pushing the limits of extreme sports, new variants <noindex>of parachuting</noindex> was created. The origin of skydiving in uncertain but its popularity later on led to different sports <noindex>and events</noindex> around the world.

Others engage in this activity for thrills, while serious skydivers join competitions around the world. parachuting sports <noindex>are also</noindex> included in the Olympics which made it not just another recreational activity for adrenaline junkies. Parachute skydiving <noindex><nofollow>comes in different</nofollow></noindex> variants.

Most of these variants are still related to skydiving with certain modifications. parachutes come in different designs which make <noindex><nofollow>them accessible</nofollow></noindex> for different uses. There are many Parachuting organizations that hold events for their members.

 Parachute skydiving

There are many <nofollow>sports that are</nofollow> related to parachuting. Most people are aware of skydiving as a recreational activity an extreme sport. However <noindex><nofollow>there are</nofollow></noindex> also other variants that parachute enthusiast engage in. Most of theses sports involve a lot of skill <nofollow>and requires</nofollow> proper training. They test the ability of the pilot to control their parachutes at different levels.

One of <noindex><nofollow>the variants</nofollow></noindex> is the Accuracy landing. The main objective is to land as close as possible to a target. <nofollow>Teams are</nofollow> composed of 5 members that compete in 8 rounds. The members of the team jump together from <noindex><nofollow>2,700 feet to</nofollow></noindex> 3,300 feet. Each member should land as close as possible or exactly dead center of the target. <noindex><nofollow>The score is</nofollow></noindex> measured from the dead center in meters. Scores are added each round. They considered as individual and <noindex><nofollow>team scores. </nofollow></noindex>

Blade running involves participants flying down a mountain and making their way through slalom courses using their parachutes. Pilots <nofollow>use a</nofollow> different kind of parachute that gives them more speed. These parachutes have smaller surface areas. This requires a lot <nofollow>of ability</nofollow> in canopy control. It’s a winter sport which is a cross between slalom skiing and skydiving. Its <noindex><nofollow>inventor is hoping</nofollow></noindex> that it will get featured in the winter X games.

Canopy formation is another variant wherein participants built <noindex><nofollow>formations.
