Title:

Is American football the greatest sport known to man?

It demands strategic planning, quick mental and physical reactions, speed, power, memory, agility, passion, endurance, discipline, dedication, and most importantly, is void of crybaby men who can’t take a hit.
It’s like modern day gladiator fighting. How can any other simpleton compare to test the raw abilities of man?

We all know that baseball is the All American Sport but I think when it comes down to the favorite sport, I think American Football seems to be getting most of both Male n Female attention. Yes, I said female attention too because these days most women seem to be more fanatical about football than girly sports ..So yes, I would say it will be the greatest in about 10yrs time.

You are right on the money!!!

American football tests all of an athletes skills and abilities: Strength, toughness, speed, power, co-ordination and intelligence. You need to master all of these skills before you will be a great football player!!

No other sport demands as much, so no other sport can compare!!

It is also without a doubt the hardest hitting, highest impact sport on the planet!!! Only a very select few superior athletes can take the contact!!! Players from other contact sports (Rugby etc.) would soon realize why they wear padding in the NFL if they ever got onto the field, which they would not because they would not be fast enough to impress a coach enough to let them on the field.

Anyone who ever says that the padding makes the game soft or calls NFL players weak, has no idea about nothing and are simply talking out of their a$$. We true sports fans know exactly how tough it is!!!!

Nate, you’d REALLY know how hard hitting and tough the game is if you ever played it instead of just acting like an expert.

Ever tried to kill a deer with your bare hands? Quite a workout, I would call it a sport.

Other than that, no, it's not a sport. Neither is raising animals on a farm to be slaughtered for food.

All answers on the census are self-reported by the people being enumerated. The Census Bureau has taught their enumerators for years not to argue with people over questions about themselves. If you are one of those people who have a problem with "hyphenated Americans" (like African-American, Mexican-American, Polish-American, etc) you may very well answer that you are "American"". Nobody's going to argue about your heritage, they're taught to just writed down what you tell them.

    Hi Fripppa!

In the great North city of Mason Ohio, we are all about football! Playing football, practicing football ,and watching football. So- Thankyou for bringing some beautiful pictures to me of things other than football. I too feel sorry for the alligator- must have gotten into a fight. The boys are all well, doing great in school, and having fun. The mansion is still for sale , weve dropped the price AGAIN, and we have now unpacked th pod to access winter clothes…FUN! Love, Kelly

Brett Kirk for sure – I've met the man himself, and he's a really nice bloke – very humble, loves his footy – and the gesture of the handshake in the preseason (ignored by that bollockchop McLean) shows what a fair player he is.

Players like him, Goodes, Kennelly – even though I don't like the club, I have the utmost respect for the Swans for showing how AFL Stars should behave.

I hope Carlton is taking notes on how to be a good sport- fair dinkum.

The Amerithrax Third Squad and its failure to catch the Fifth Man:

DEFEND THE REALM author Christopher Andrew discusses the Cambridge 5, Russian spies who had infiltrated MI5 at high levels. It is the biggest known failure of MI5. What will be known as the biggest known failure of the CIA and FBI to detect infiltration? Will it be known as AMERITHRAX if things remain on their present publicly announced course?

The people who say "Round ball, round bat" are morons.
Would it be easier with a square ball and triangular bat?
Ted Williams likely made his comment because he was intensely egotistical and needed to make his amazing accomplishments seem even more impressive.
It's not much of an accomplishment to make contact but being a great hitter is a rare ability. Nonetheless I am unable to call hitting "the most difficult" since the physical requirements are far less than those involved in the difficult aspects of almost any other sport.

I agree. It's ridiculous. The car does the main work.

And how is Poker a sport.

This is all about reality as it's perceived by couch potatoes.

yea dude but theres a different atmosphere around the team. Robinson doesn’t have to do it all and Western believe it or not is not a bad team. Notre Dame lost to FSU and OSU beat an Akron team that would get destroyed by WMU by a score that Michigan would’ve gotten by the end of the 3rd quarter. I’m not saying were the shit this year but things are getting back into what Michigan football used to be. Real talk not shit talking
